@kyrl, I like the idea of the central PSF pastebin account.
If you guys want to try the pastebin idea: username: PSF-Story-Database password: psf-default-password

But we got kicked off that forum didn't we? Cuz the head guy hates pony or something. I'd drink too if I could. Alas, I'm underage and respect my parents booze collection too much to drink any of it without them letting me.

All the authors have their own individual PasteBin accounts. It's a shame we don't have Rainberry. I think she said she saved every story ever written on PSF. I think.

Some of them keep them private, like ponysneeze. That means you need the actual link to the paste to see a specific story. I'd rather it all be in one place, especially just in case an author has a shitfit and decides to delete everything (it happens)

We do still have the sneeze wiki. It has all the pastebin links. But in case an author has a meltdown and starts deleting shit, you're right. I guess it could be a good idea.

Yeah only problem is that most of the stories on the wiki are links to the non-existent site. I really hope the authors hard work didn't all just go down the drain.

Doubt it. I think Daisy also would post things on Pastebin. And I'm sure authors didn't just delete their stories once they posted them. I don't have a pastebin but I still have all my stories saved on Gdocs.

@skymist, I'm thinking it did. I went to view the source code of one of the stories from the old site.
view-source:http://pastebin.com/XfevRwYw - This is what the source code page should look like.
view-source:http://psnzef.boards.net/post/16376/thread - This is the source code for a deleted story from the old PSF.
Basically, they deleted the whole page, no story left on any of the pages. They may have a database save of the page, but doubt I could find it.

Hm. I don't know about that stuff so I'll take your word for it. But what I mean Claof, is that I doubt Grapefoot or Daisy or any other writers didn't have another copy on their computers. I know some short stories by some Rare-Rarity fan are probably lost for good though. The only place other than PSF it was published was DA, and a month or so ago I checked the DA link and it was gone.
I'm honestly touched by AJStudios. It feels nice that he appreciates the support we give him. Perhaps he can help us regroup ourselves.

From my experience with writing essays and seeing my peers write, a majority of people usually don't just post something without a backup. By that I mean like... they WILL usually have something on a USB or something saved on Google Docs or their computer, I think in this case it would just be a matter of asking the author themselves if they had the files.
Hm, I apologize from straying a bit from the subject about the written work, although I have a relatively small question. Would it be appropriate to start up a thread in the artwork area? It's kinda baron, and I was just thinking "Ay maybe I can start something up, maybe get things kinda going again."

Go ahead. As much as it saddens me, we do have to start making this our new place...

Go ahead. As much as it saddens me, we do have to start making this our new place... So, I guess once a ProBoards forum is deleted, you can't restore it. *sigh* So yes. Looks like this is the new place.
